Bob McNair is a former City of Scottsdale leader whose vision helped transform McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park into one of Arizona’s premier family destinations.

He directed major projects including the Stillman Station, model railroad building, Hartley’s General Store, the acquisition of two dining cars and a railroad depot, and numerous park facility and event expansions and improvements.

McNair also facilitated the development of the Paiute Neighborhood Center, oversaw its design and construction, secured major sponsorships for teen, computer and senior facilities, and established the non-profit Partners for Paiute.

A standout athlete, he twice earned All-Pac-8 honors at Oregon State University and was selected in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball draft, playing professionally in multiple organizations.
