Rachel Cooper

I am proud to be part of the Scottsdale Railroad and Mechanical Society, a nonprofit organization that supports the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, which has been part of the City of Scottsdale for over 50 years and part of my family history for generations. As a retired CPA, I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors as Treasurer and help support the organization’s mission and future growth.

Growing up in Scottsdale, I made the railroad park a special place where I celebrated childhood birthdays, enjoyed family picnics, attended concerts, and looked forward to the holiday light displays each year. Years later, the park became a place for my husband and me to bring our own children and friends to celebrate birthdays and enjoy the many events held throughout the year. This lifelong connection inspires my passion for preserving the park’s history, creating memorable experiences for families, and helping ensure the park remains a treasured destination for future generations.
